When a new prisoner arrives with mysterious abilities similar to Coffey's, the past is revealed: could Coffey's miracles still exist somewhere in the world?

The film could delve into the consequences of the miracles, the fates of the people John Coffey saved, and whether there is someone who will inherit his mysterious gift.

With the resounding success of the first film, Warner Bros. could consider a sequel, albeit without the participation of Michael Clarke Duncan (John Coffey) due to his passing. The film could focus on a new character, exploring the themes of justice, fate, and miracles in the same deep and emotional way as the first film.

Making The Green Mile 2 would be a huge challenge, as the first film was so excellent that it would be difficult to replace the image of John Coffey. However, if carefully crafted with a strong script, the film could deliver an emotional story and continue the legacy of this classic.
